Technical Responsibilities:
· Analyzing data and trends to help clients make informed decisions of the optimal reinsurance strategies they should adopt
· Performing ground up analysis and loss ratio investigations to build client portfolio understanding
· Build comprehensive loss models based on experience and exposure analysis in accordance with client’s risk profiles and industry standards
· Estimate reinsurance treaty pricing for clients mainly in Property Casualty Marine Aerospace etc. lines of business (depending on the market/team)
· Reinsurance structure optimisation and profitability analysis to manage earnings volatility and solvency risk for clients
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure actuarial principles and techniques are accurately implemented in product development and pricing strategies
· Generate reports and presentations summarizing analyses and findings to support business decision-making
· Contribute towards the Industry studies and benchmarking activities that aim at promoting Gallagher Re as thought leaders in the reinsurance marketplace
· Provide valuable insights and support to clients while continuously improving processes through innovation in the form of tool development and automation of Actuarial analysis

Qualification:
· Graduate/Post-graduate preferably in Stats/Maths/Eco/Commerce
· A member of any recognized Actuarial institute like Institute of Faculties of Actuaries – UK (IFoA) Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) etc.
· 3-6 Actuarial exams cleared as per the new Curriculum along with zeal of pursuing the qualification further.
· Relevant experience of 1 - 3 years
· Excellent MS Office skills particularly Excel is essential.
· Knowledge of VBA SQL Python R Power BI etc. is an added advantage.
